Charlie did my 40 Ford sedan way back in 2001, I really like his work and wish he could do my latest 40.
My dad did pinstriping on the side back in the day, so I started to pick it up when I was younger. I just like doing my own stuff, I’m certainly not good enough to touch a brush on an expensive “customer” car, but I tool around with smaller stuff. Here is a design I did on my home bar Sent from my iPhone using The H.A.M.B. mobile app
Here are a few things I've done over the years. First up is a 1/25th scale model of my 55 Safari wagon that I built from a Pontiac dealer promo and a 55 Nomad kit and tried to duplicate some of the striping on the car. Second is the back window of my 78 Mercury Bobcat wagon around 1980. Third is a motorcycle I did for a friend about 15 years ago. Fourth is my Snap-On work seat when it was first done about 20 years ago.The paint is a bit worn now. Fifth & sixth is a decoy that I decorated up a bit.Helmet made of chrome duct tape and a sharpened aluminum push pin;wings made of wooden striping brushes;and legs and feet from stainless steel spatulas.
Here is a hand painted Pinstriping and Lettering Job I recently did . Variegated leaf Belt stripe . I’m located in San Dimas ,Ca. for anyone local interested in Pinstriping ,Flames,Lettering, Gold and Silver leafing, etc. since 1973. You can check out some of my work at Quicksilverart or on Instagram at quicksilverart46 Sent from my iPhone using H.A.M.B.
While I’m digging for some more of my Pinstriping examples here are a couple of hand brushed recent pieces . Sent from my iPhone using H.A.M.B.

Mine is much more subtle than many posted, I hope they are not out of place on your thread. You have to be looking to even see them. The guy does real nice work. Name of Brad from Portland. He has a steady hand. The single line runs around the reveal body line top and bottom and across the stern. The color is a little something he mixed up to compliment the interior colors. Normally I use Mitch Kim for this stuff but he was busy and the PRS was coming fast. Brad even striped the car in my garage.
@Mike Moreau here's a side shot of the car but good luck blowing it up enough to get any info. off the tire.
Speed Gems, Thank you for the response. I like the tread and "squareness" of the profile, need to replace rears on my Model A.
Dad did this up for me for my 25th birthday Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-G891A using The H.A.M.B. mobile app
I like pinstriping with just two colors only!!! After that the artwork starts getting to busy and becomes the focal point of the car instead of the car being the focal point. It's amassing to me when people walk up to a car and only comment about the pinstriping and not how beautiful the car is. Pinstriping should accent a beautiful car!!! Sometimes knowing when to stop is the most important part of pinstriping. These comments exclude the low rider guy's who believe in pinstriping every single spot on their cars. Jimbo

Anyone know of a pinstriper named Nick who was active in NE Ohio back in the 1994 time frame. He did the stripes on my truck back then, I would like to get him to put his signature on the tailgate. Here is an example of his work. John U
