Hey Hambers! I couldn't believe my eyes yesterday when I stumbled onto this message board and read about the cloning of the Kopper Kart! Congratulations on taking the leap! Of course, my jaw hit the floor when I learned of this Cloning the Kopper Kart has been a passion of mine for many years now. I've been gathering the pieces since 1999. For Christmas, 2000, my wife bought me a '55 big window 1/2 ton with a rebuilt 235 (what a great woman!). I sectioned and chopped it in early 2002. With the help of some friends, I'll be putting it on the road this summer with the body work completed. I'm certainly not trying to steal your glory It's nice to see someone else recognize the importance of this lost custom. If you want to swap cloning stories, I'd be happy to talk with you. Best wishes! -John
Hey John , Before the Hamb Nazi start in on you, You might want to post some pictures and give a little info on your self. Just a heads up.
I think the intro police - whoever they are - can go hang. Of course we all still want to see some shots of the truck. Welcome.

I'm in the process of getting a digital camera, so I'll get some photos up soon. I have buildup photos, but don't have access to a scanner. Have you figured out most of the weird parts? It's been a challenge! I recently finished rebuilding the triple carb setup and I'm anxious to fire it up this Spring. I live in Maine, and it's still in the 30's here. Actually, the first year I started cutting the truck, pure ambition brought me through the winter in my unheated garage! Kustoms can make you krazy! I was looking at the pictures you posted what did you use for parklights? I gathered every article I could find on the truck, but with everything in black & white, it's sometimes hard to tell. -John
