I was leaving the drags on sunday at new england dragway. On my way out saw this rat rod in the parking lot they were ready to take it off the trailer. They were in a rush to get inside. They told me that they will be at the bud plant next sunday and tell me all about it. Bud plant in new hampshire next sunday. Wanted to share these photos with everyone i call it the fip top rat

Looks like it could be a nice car if he finishes it. The roof is cool.

The body shape, curved wishbones and overall ingenuity are all really cool- just think it's going for a reaction that might not be the way to go.

My dog shits on the living room floor every now and then to get attention.
A couple paper towels, some air freshener, a little soap and water and a swat on the nose, and it's all over with.

There isn't a roll of paper towels or can of air freshener big enough to clean that attention-seeking mess up.

OK, I'll go out on a limb here and wait for myself to be torn apart, but unfortunately you used the rat rod term for it which is definitely a big no-no around here. And this one probably fits the RR bill pretty well. BUT, this one shockingly does have some cool potential in my opinion. It has got something going on way more than most. But it would look 1000 better finished up and painted. However, the safety and engineering parts would need to be taken care of first (assuming they aren't already and likely so) for it to even be worth it. But done up properly and with some brilliant finishing touches, I could see this as kind of a pretty cool car actually. Get rid of the goofy gauges, home made metal steering wheel, see-through welds and other high school pranks and might have some potential.

 

Cool Jim, but also remember to take your eyes off the road to see the gauges mounted to the roof.

 

well thats a shame the trailer it drove on cost more than the pile it,s hauling.

i woulnt want to try and get out in an emergency especially if the pep boyz gas tank goes BOOM!
