Customs KUDO'S TO DIAMOND BACK TIRES

I just got off the phone with the owner, Bill, I have his tires on my 52 and the White Walls are separating on the 2 front tires. After a long conversation he has made me an almost unbelievable offer, he will be shipping me 2 new fronts for a price so low that couldn't even buy one new tire, and that includes the shipping. These tires have more than 30,000 miles on them.

THAT MY FRIENDS IS CUSTOMER SERVICE WITH A BIG SMILE THROWN IN FOR GOOD MEASURE.

How old were the bad tires, Bob ??

 

30,000 is about 3 weeks for Bob

 

I put them on last fall after I got back from Alaska. The rear tires are just fine, these Michelins have a 70,000 tread wear life on them.

I am pleased you had good luck with the guys at Diamondback,my pal Ken also had the whitewall split and was told the tires were too old for any adjustment,,2 years old with about 15 thousand miles.

He bought a new set of tires from their competitor. HRP

 

Yup... Btw i wish i'd met him when he passed literally thru my town but i had to work(divers street rods is a few miles away and close friends)

Bob, i hope your odometer is working well, we are gunna need to keep a good tally at this pace
