I just moved to denison, tx from cali. i had a lot of friends back home in different clubs or just building for their own pleasure. there was always a show going on close by, so i was never short of inspiration. the rat fink reunion will always be my favorite (as a lowbrow artist, roth's my hero). i learned how to weld in the USAF, and taught myself a bit about mechanics playing with muscle cars and 4x4's. i started playing around with any old car i could get ahold of for a while, just learning what i could till i came across a 53 mainline. unfortunatly, i had to move to texas and couldn't take my projects with me. so here i am, having a hard time s****ing up enough money to get a rusty shell and no idea of where there's a show with anything but trailer queens. (don't get me wrong, they're pretty, but they bore me. i'm in it for the creativity!) anyway, ran across this site and it gave me hope of finding the kulture i've been missing.
thanks guys. just found a yard full of old trucks and had a new neighbor move in with a trailer. things are looking up!
