Hello everyone my name is Josh and have a 1950 chevy business coupe that I bought from the original owner. Its in good shape with just about every option including automatic trans (think its the first year for it on chevy?) I just recently put in a fresh 235 with fenton dual one barrels and fenton exhuast and now im in the process of putting in a camaro rear end with disc brakes and then I'll eventually get some discs up fron when I put a new crossmember in. My real question I guess is..Can someone post pictures of some 50 chevies in primer or satin primer? As I really want this car to be more of a "kustom". All the cars I've owned up to this point have been restored 58-68 chevy impalas and I'm kinda bored with the low rider scene as I've been doing it for almost 15 years now. thanks and any pics are appreciated josh
1950 biz, Sound like you have a good project to work on. One misconception you might have is that customs have flat paint. the flat paint that is seen on a REAL custom is almost always a transition look until all of the body modifications are done. A true custom IMO is a shiny finished car with some subtle or radical body modifications, a custom interior, usually lowered, sweet sounding exhaust, and a killer non stock paint job. These views are not necessarily those of the management. Frank
