If I decide to keep the pink, this is the direction I will be going for sure

How about a slim litte scoop like this right where the hood drops down? Screenshot_20221103-160829_Instagram.jpg 20221101_184545.jpg

At first glance the pink looked like a sick kid after drinking too much pesto!

After a bit of reflection I actually think the pink could work as the base color for a black silver and white panel job.

Agree with Elco on the chrome steelies.

Lastly when I was working on the tails of my '59 County Sedan, I kept searching pet store aisles for the right size stainless food bowl too use as a bezel. A little rim of bright work around those trails would look real nice IMO.
    Nice truck!

I do like the sound of that steering wheel, where would I find one? Also I'm going to check out that color and seat choice, thanks

Thanks, we'll see what happens with the color. And I've heard of people doing that, may start searching for some dog bowls lol

This truck has the potential to be a killer semi Kustom..just don’t get too crazy or you’ll wind up adding modifications for the sake of adding modifications…

For the bumpers your throwing out there..make them look like they should be there..not “hey I found this 50’s car bumper, let’s hang it on there “ same thing with the grill..I don’t hate the rear end treatment so far, dual antennas..killer…shaved, nosed, and decked…perfect….we’ve already discussed the hubcaps…cool it with the extended bullets, Caddy tailights…if the budget allows some chrome reverse…do it..

I would love to see a pearl white vinyl tuck and roll bed cover on that truck..

You’ve got some great things going on…some may just need some refinement

I can’t wait to see the continued progress

From the latest Kustoms Illustrated..a great Kustoms only magazine…plenty of inspiration within the pages…

Moon discs don’t belong on Kustoms…but they are cool for “track trucks”

Thanks man, I appreciate it. I am kind of known for getting carried away with things lol. That's why I started this thread. I like that bed cover idea, I just planned on doing a raised wood floor.

Digs it..... Friend had a '34 Ford 3 Window, Pepto Bismol pink, was beautiful

I have a few pullover shirts with collars that are pink

Only thing I might do would be to put some bigger tires on the rear

I have always been a big rear, little front tire guy though :)

    I love the color.

Porsche had a color like that called Raspberry Red Metallic (Rennbow).

I have seen it sprayed with and without the metallic.

In both cases it set the vehicle apart form all that you might miss at the show!

This is a great example of less is more, the lines of the truck speak for themselves but the paint has a mind of its own.

I've been busy with other projects lately but I picked up this 57 lincoln bumper I'm going to try to make a rear bumper out of. Definitely a lot more curve than I was expecting but we'll see 20221120_202747.jpg 20221120_202754.jpg 20221120_202800.jpg

That bumper could be cool. Seriously, keep this thing pink. How about a Winfield style fade job in shades of pink?

Thanks to @Stogy @beware I appreciate you guys sharing my ride for potential inspiration. I dig the truck and think it has great potential. I think the rear bumper treatment can work and off course I'm a little bias towards it lol. BTW, do you have the bottom piece of that front 57 bumper still? If so, I might be interested in buying it from you. Cheers and keep the progress going!!

I contemplated that, but I really don't like the look of continental kits

Thanks man, love your car. I do have the bottom piece but it's in pretty rough shape, kinda bent up and dinged
