Glad to be a member! I'm a machinist from Ontario, Canada and my kustom has an interesting history. First saw my chopped 55 Ford back in 1977. I was 12 at the time and seeing this car just blew me away. The car was on display at the local mall for it's grand opening. I guess they chose this 55 cuze the movie "Grease" was just released and the celabration had a 50's theme. Upon seeing this kustom I promised myself that some day I would purchase It. I kept track of the car's every move for 27 yrs, and finally purchased it in March 2005. I had to drive 1600 miles to Edmonton, Alberta to pick it up. I beleive the car was first kustomized in the late 60's or early 70's. I WILL keep it traditional with the Y block and drum brakes. All I intend to change is to slam it down and repaint it.
