My dad would say "she's going to poke her eye out on those fins". Cool pedal car. looks like a fun project. It's got me thinking about altering an old wagon I have. Gary

Man you are father of the year! It's very cool that you are building this for your daughter but even cooler that you are teaching your son and letting him be so involved. This world would be a much better place with more dads like you.

Well i had to come in and get a hot coffee. My son had called it a night earlier because of the cold I am working in a semi heated garage...lol..I only turn on the salamander when I want to do the bondo work ....lol..other than that I work along side a kerosene heater for the moment. next year we will be better equipped (WE SHALL HAVE HEAT) anyway I am going to take my camera back out with me and when I call it a night or shoulsd I say morning I will post the progress.
We are really trying to get this done and we both thank you for the great comment.

That is bad *** right there. Thanks for the light idea I am still trying to figure out what to do for lights.

Thanks, we appreciate the comments and as for the paint shop my friend told me not to worry about anything he don't care what time it is finished I can bring it over and he will open it for me.

Damn father of the year!Wow thanks I really mean it I am just trying to bring up my children to be as close with one another as possible and to let them know that some things you do for others will have much m,ore meaning than to just go out and buy something that anyone else can. My son is very artistic and has been wanting to get out in the garage to help me with this car eversince I brought it home and told him what it was going to be. The down side to this is I have three other boys who are unfortunately to young to be in the garage while this sort of work is being done. Plus it gets a little hard to try and have them all in the garage at the same time. But they are being pretty good about the whole thing and ask me when they get Geno's age (My oldest boy) if the can come in the garage and help. :D anyway time is creeping up and I better get back out there and try and get this done.

WOW!!! way too kool! Your design has me completly rethinking my original ideas. I bought one for my 1st daughter this year for her birthday looks a little familar, unfortunatly mine was cheap but it came with a Bondo price... oh well just a lil more work is all!!! Amazing stuff hope to post my daughter's finished soon!

Well it makes me sad that we just will not be able to finish this for Christmas.:( But my son is good spirited about it and we both come to terms that it will be better to get it looking good than trying to rush it anymore and mess it up. Well I will post the pics as we continue to try and finish it before next year............lol.......We wish all of you guys/gals a very Happy Holiday season now I am off to finish the last minute wrapping and I need to finish this job. :)
