Features Kustoms blues? I need to see some kustoms....

I managed to sit and watch some of the top chopping work going on this year. Amazing to watch skilled craftsmen at work. Keith Dean is so calm and patient it's amazing. Keith and his crew made chopping the 'Bird look easy--which I know it wasn't.
I listened in as the guy that did the glass explained what all he had to do to get the windshield cut correctly and fitted back into the Thunderbird. It really is mind boggling what goes in to all this. I was disappointed that I didn't get to see the completed work on the car before we headed home.
We were going to go back to the park on Sunday and hang out for a few hours before hitting the road. In a matter of about 10 minutes or so while we were loading the cars the weather went from beautiful to dark and stormy. We decided we'd better get the heck out of there. We had light rain for about 20 miles and then it cleared up. It was all good until we crossed the border back into Colorado and then the weather really went south. But that is another story..........E

 

If you would of went to the park, you could of helped us take down a few canopy`s that got destroyed by the wind. No cars were harmed. . For people who don`t know, it is John Saltzman`s T-Bird.

 

Talk about SPOTLIGHTS being out place ? this is a fine example !!!!!
