    I know there's a story in there somewhere, but the AMT Cruisin' USA series of the '49 Mercury came with those awful 'dry transfer' decals that seemed to replicate the car @stanlow69 posted above.

    I believe this is the Merc that Jerry ***us drove in high school. Sold it to Darryl Starbird, he sectioned the Merc and it ended up in Barris shop.
