while I am certain that this Lincoln is a very nice car. It is not a custom. It is 100% bone stock body wise right down to the original hubcaps. It looks like it may be lowered but that is it. Again , nice car, not a custom... customs need body mods even if it is only nosed and decked

The last sentence cleared up the definition of customs for me, thanks.

Is it this one that was once owned by Larry Messick?

Me too. When I had my friends help build my Studebaker, I wanted some custom touches that I couldn't afford on my 49 Fleetline in 1956. It's off topic on this board because of the wheels I chose, but to me it's still a mild custom like I would have built in the 50's.

  8. Most of mine are OT due to year and make. I dont think the bosses would like any euro trash or mini trucks posted. :):):)
on the bright side, using 15 inch wheels makes more economical build:cool:
    Well maybe

Thanks, I removed the post...I wasn't sure...I unfortunately ran out of battery and by the time I got a recharge the field had changed dramatically and I missed taking more of the things I would have liked too...like the front of that...Lincoln...

Looks like they were inspired by this one which was built in Ohio. Now resides in Arizona and has changed a bit. Scan0226.jpg Scan0229.jpg Scan0230.jpg

I'm not sure. The one on the trailer was at a show here in Lake Havasu City a number of years ago and it reminded me of the cars Barris built for a movie. I think he did two of them.

The one I took a photo of looks like the just filled in where the quarter windows were. Kind of different than the three window look.
