Features Kustoms blues? I need to see some kustoms....

One of my favorite Merc. I thought about buying it when it was for sale a year or so before I got mine. I haven't seen the new front end and black primer (or is it old front end before the quads?) before. Looks good.

 

Taken with my first digital camera that used a 3-1/2" floppy disk and had about 1/3 mp resolution ...

 

I hadn't seen the black suede version before. Always liked it

Doesn't make it look better than stock ... and as all custom guys know, stock ****s.

Might be good in a tornado if hydraulic, ground penetrating outrigger spades were added.

FWIW, its got more custom mods than I've ever done, so its all talk from this HAMBer.

 

I have so many questions.

How does it steer? Does it have dual rear axles? Will the doors clear the fenders, they're extended forward...(suicide doors maybe?)
I don't see any hood line. Rear engine? What's the deal with the cut-out in the back of the cab? Motorcycle hauler?
The entire body appears to be molded except the doors and the skirts. And the little hatch on the front fenders...

Wonder where it ended up.

 

I almost bought that car about 15 years ago. It was pretty ragged and rusty around the bottom from sitting a long time. Not sure what happened to it, I haven't seen it around here. Hope someone saved it!
