Features Kustoms blues? I need to see some kustoms....

That looks great. Last time I saw it was a few years ago and it was still in primer.@classicalgas told me ( yes, he and I have met but neither of us knew the other was on the HAMB) that the final color was going to be pearl white. Looks good.

 

I just heard Ray Bozarth has passed away, his 4 door Buick transformed into a 2 door carson top was one for the ages. Had always great conversations with Ray and Myrna. The bottom picture I took and it was from the All Custom Nationals in Hannibal Missouri 1992

 

This was Ray's other custom a 57 Olds, I took this at the Goodguys Heartland show in Des Moines in 2001.

 

Sad, that`s Myrna`s Olds. His wife`s.

 

So sorry to hear about Big Ray's passing. Always very friendly and loved everything custom, including talking about them. He put together a few nice sleds over the years that are very impressive. Custom events won't be the same without him. He will be missed.

First, sad news about Ray, his car and build was an inspiration to many including me. Never met him but he enjoyed his car for many years!
Second, much congrats on reaching 1500 pages! Thank you all for contributing as I have learned a lot here

 

I see a California plate ? Dave was from Verdon Nebraska. Sold it ?

 

Yes he sold it maybe six months ago, the new owner is thrilled with the wagon.

 

I hadn't seen this one before.

 

Beautiful car. Just one old guys opinion, but the car is much nicer when it's not laying frame. Sorry I had to.
