Thank you for posting better pics. It has a lot of kool going on. what do you think about the rear fender treatment? It has kind of a 55 Pontiac kick up to it. I like it better in the day light…

I like the rear treatment. The Pontiac kick up looks good. I'm usually not a fan of continental kits but this one works since he extended the fenders back too.
I talked to him briefly. He called the car the Mutt. Its a 49 Oldsmobile with stretched 55 Pontiac rear fender. He said all the other parts of cars that are on it. But I forgot what they were.

I hadn't noticed a lot of event coverage this year. Thank you for posting your pics.

It was kool to see a new build from Santa Maria. Continental kits are love them or hate them. I was going to put one on the Merc and my wife didn't like the idea. Seeing this one makes me double think my decision. Lol! Thank you for the extra info, its a kool build.

Love this car. Was so happy to hear he was going to try and make it to the show. Unfortunately he didn't put it in. But I was able to find it in the parking lot. The car is rough as its an older custom. He said the car has been neglected for a long time.

I love the flames. I love non traditional flames, yet traditional flames. What I mean is non traditional in todays standards. But traditional as back in the 50's. Back in the day there was no rules of what flames should look like. So you saw all sorts of different styles and interpretations of flames.

It is one of my favorite pictures taken that weekend. Rough or not I believe it should be in the show. Building a purrfect kustom is a lot of work and money. Sometime kustom project never gets finished. People don't get he chance to see it or the owner enjoying cruising it around. It might not have won a trophy but it was one that guys were talking about how kool it was after the show. That is better than a trophy...

Salute, I do to..... I like seeing creative flames.

This is a beautiful car! (But I'd like to know why many customs like this do not paint the recess and the rest of the equipment behind the grille such as horns and radiators flat black or at least one color to better show off the outside grille.)

Looking forward to your comments . . .
