Thanks Bill. Nows here`s his car from that show. A replica to the car his mom and dad took on their honeymoon. Notice it is lowered abit more in the rear and now has skirts. A unique feature is the toothless grille. Just like his dad had.

 

Now here`s a 54 convertible with TEETH Also taken in Salina in the last few years. It has off topic wheels.

 

Yeah, but it'd be a touch cramped with all the cars there now. LoL

Awesome!! Thanks for posting the pic! Myron gave me a whole photo album when I bought the car filled with construction pics and pics from shows he took it to. I always love to see pics and history of the cars I've been blessed with.

LOL Yes, the mats are separate. The tuck and roll ones are actually extra for shows and he made a regular carpet with white binding set for every day. I'd hate to be cleaning pop tart crumbs out from between the pleats on the white ones. LOL

Here is another batch of pics from 2009 Salina. Sorry for so many posts, I'm not having success placing multiple pics in the same post. I'd especially like to do that for different shots of the same car. Anyway, I'll keep posting until I get done scanning my prints from various shows over the years. I'm editing as I go, what looked like it went in the kustom pile on the initial sorting of many shoeboxes of pics, ends up having off-topic wheels, or past the HAMB year breaks.

This car was in the very first post by Mick that started this awesome thread. Its got flames now. A very impressive amount of metalwork on this car. Great proportions in the chop and the section ... AND homebuilt if I recall. My favorite detail on this car is the placement and angle of the aerials. I suspect they are a love-it or hate-it feature. I'm definitely diggin' it.

 

Here's one at first glance that looks like a mild Ford with a bolt in 54 Chevy grill. I looked closer and a lot of work went into making the parking light housings and the fenders come together. And the neat little detail, the Pontiac star on the lens. Cool!
