See, every time I've stuck Chic in the trunk of the car, she DIDN'T have a smile on her face when I opened the trunk!! LoL!

Hey Straykat, I really like that exhaust. Do you know about the history of this car?

My thoughts exactly. Does the hardtop retract like a Skyliner? Retains all the signature 57 Lincoln styling features which it enhances. Restrained craziness. I'm definitely in.

I'm going to post up a batch of kustoms I shot at Paso Robles in 2001, with the exception of the first one, which is a kool and unique rear bumper/tail light idea I saw at the last Merc/Deuce reunion in 1999. I didn't know the kool kat StrayKat I now know as Mick, but he's got an eye for kustoms. The following post will tie in to Mick's tail light design to start the Paso Pics. Hope you all enjoy. This truck really was kool. Not too hard to mistake it for kustom Merc at first glance, but its a Studebaker P/U 01292017_0008.jpg

.... with some cool fins and a custom bumper. I never liked the way the stock Stude rear was just sooooo flat, never went with the roundness of the p/u. Notice tailgate letters modified to read "S L E D U B A K E R" 01292017_0009.jpg

Quite the difference between a 60 and 59 Ford. I've always been partial to a 60, ( my Dad had a white Starliner) but this '59, "My Blue Heaven" is soooo rightous. 01292017_0045.jpg

About 99% of the time I like kustoms to have whitewall and skirts, but here's one of that other percent that I like too 01292017_0011.jpg
