Ahh yes, the often imitated, never duplicated Keith Dean( The Kid that is) doing what he and his father before him did/ do best, building customs.

 

A Short history lesson.

 

Weird question but did they have someone show up to the car show with a pickup load full of lava rocks? How does that work out?

 

Wood chips.

 

Those are Redwood chips. When We showed our car in the early 70's, we used them and when we would change the display, we would use cork flooring and wood chips. you had to improvise, sort of like using drawer pulls for a grille.

 

A little rough, hope to see it progress to be finished.
