Customs like this make me think of Jim's (Stanlow69) inspiration for his Soldier's Joy project. I miss him and it's going to be a different year not seeing him at shows/swap meets.

 

Correct me if I’m wrong ( incorrect that is) but isn’t this the late @pgan’s shoebox?

 

The car is very nice, but if I was going to drive it, the taillights would have to light the rear end up like a Japanese sunset. Those are too low and too small for the average fool following you down the road.

 

Sorry, I don't know. All I know it is real kool...

I'm not a fan of the shaved rear quarters. Taillights might be bright but they will be hard to see.

 

It is not. Pats car had a '49 grill on it not the '50 on this car, didn't have a driving light in the middle of the grill, had side trim, had door buttons and wasn't chopped.

There really isn't much done to this car, aside from the emblems and door handles being removed, then there's the beautiful top. WOW! The top has a bunch of work in it. It's surprising how much work is in the top, and how little customizing is done to the body. But then again how much more can you do to a 59 Caddy? Beautiful car!

 

I like the look of not shaving every emblem and all of trim off of a car. The kustom/stock appearance of the Caddy is just too kool. Beautiful kustom...
