Your correct Sancho. The extremely hard part is watching and waiting with my hands tied and trying to accept that it no longer is in my control. Add to that, it's current condition is all my fault. That's a real Slap.

I get what you are saying, but you cannot control what subsequent owners do.
The beating it took between the time you owned it and now isn't really your fault.

I guess that's easy to say. I am sure I would feel the same way you do......

 

I rode in that Truck when it was new as a Kid. It was a service Truck for Meadowland Dairy and Harry was a large inspiration in what I became. Then to end up owning it was strange to say the least. That Truck and I had some unreal road trips and built a life of memories. I sold it to a former Customer that was into F-100's for his young troubled Son. It was a moment I totally regret now. I thought the Dad was a better Man than turns out. He understood what it ment to me and should have at least given me a call when a price was put on it. We talked about that before it left. I better Stop before my Blood Pressure get's out of control again. I can't help but feel at Fault.

Ha! This makes me smile. Not only because the A40 Cambridge makes a passable custom, (if you don't think about how tiny they are,) but also because I have a soft spot for British cars. I'm currently building a custom sedan delivery, starting with a London cab as the base.

I'm gonna go to U-Pull-It this week and grab the front clip if it`s still there. It is a tilt front end. The pic`s I took in 2010.
