One detail that was not mentioned was the lack of external trunk hinges (...a rather complicated mod, given that the build pre-dates the use of the hidden hinges Ford introduced on Shoeboxes in '51).

 

Man, I enjoy some aspect of every car on the thread, but I wanted to hit "like" for this one more than once! Wot a nice ride!

This thing showed up at a show locally here a few years ago. I believe the guy was out of Lumsden Sask. Beautiful car. I walked away rather 'stiffly' after giving it the double going-over..

This to me just looks like a out fuckin around having fun car..... actually I guess that could be almost any ......well anyway ass up stance ,chop top, moon disks and wide raised white letter tires ...crazy time...plus reminds me of Greased Lighting......

This is Fabulous! It's not too often that a custom shows real talent to design, good taste and sense of automotive history and culture in a same package. Here it does.
I'd really like to see more photos of this one and learn the background & build history as well.

1952 Buick at Carnage on Larimer 2017 in Denver. This car originally came from California.

 

This purple Chevy really has a cool look to it, I like it. And those horrible side mirrors would swap off real easy, no harm done.
