Update on Palle Johansen's 1940 Mercury Sedan Custom. The paint stripped of the body is all finished now and Palle has started installing the beautifully grafted flush mounted teardrop shaped fender skirts created by Drew Bland @fatfenderskustomz. Palle cut away the lower section of the stock mercury fenders to make place for the new wheel opening created by Drew Bland on the drivers side. Weld the new opening in place and added the flush mounted skirts to have a first look.
The car has come a long way since the wood bucket for the hand made roof. Next up is installing the passenger side skirts, and then creating the new rear window openings and rounding the trunk corners. Soooo super smooth.
