Just went to Kustoms Illustrated's website and found this:

KUSTOMS ILLUSTRATED is no longer as of July 31st 2025
I have lost my house and everything in it due to a devastating major fire.

Everything is gone including most back issues and my database.

Thank you for understanding during this difficult time.

Wow - about as bad as it gets. can only hope that insurance covers some of it. but, when you put your heart soul into a business never recover fully.

Wow! I am so sad for him. Kustoms Illustrated was a great publication and Luke is a great guy who had dedicated so much to the world of kustom cars.

Wow so sorry to hear this. Kustoms Illustrated has been a favorite of mine since issue 1. My best wishes for your recovery from this.

I am guessing the least of his concerns are the magazine at this point. Given the picture of the fire he posted on his website he has nothing left of any sort.

He is in Ashford CT and it looks like it was house fire rather than being caught in a wildfire.
    I really enjoyed that magazine.
