While our car count was less than what we expected (a number of clubs that called were no-shows), there was quality..., and those that showed for our inagural event/fundraiser promised to be back next year. In the interim, they said that would spread the word at any events they hit this year, along with offering their help for next years gathering. Another plus was that we raised approx $1200.00 for our youth softball teams. Now that we've got a full year to spread out and tighten up some loose ends, along with word that the local chamber is for sure going to join forces with us next year (and it looks pretty good that we'll be able to add in a "Main Strret " cruise either the night before or following the days show), we are looking at even bigger and better happenings. Mind you that with our last minute move to the actual fairgrounds property (across the way from our original parking area), there is in reality, room for about 400+/- cars, not to mention a ton of vendor space. So please keep a space on next year's calendar!
