More. The white & red car is a standard 1958 FC Holden 4 door, this is the same model as the goldish custom FC! Plus more images of the '54 & '36, just because I like them Alot!
I scanned some more photo's of the Tennessee show from 1993. Mild Chevy A bit wilder Chevy Lincoln with its nose modified to look more like a Merc... why? the Lincoln headlights and nose are absolutley wonderful! But other than that this is a rather nice sled. OK it sits a bit to high in the back and the hole in the parking spot does not help much either... Stock 51 Lincoln headlights and Desoto grille... not often seen but it does look very good. Four door and a very long hood. Getting ready for the cruise...
Her's my dads 50 Merc. He's had it about ten years or so. We don't know any history on it. I think it was from Ohio area. Still runnin the merc flattie with power steering and air conditioning. We don't have any idea who did the chop or the body work.
Hey, I know the guy that owns that merc with "half Breed" on the back. He has a ton of cars, somewhere around 20. All finished but the 32 he's building right now. Cool old fella, only one at the local spots that actually will hang out and bullshit with me. His merc is really nice, but the half breed indian stuff he has on it drives me nuts!
I saw Curly Tremayne's car up for sale in Carlisle, 2-4 years ago. Sad condition, but do-able. It was an inspiration for me as well, though I saw it in magazines only, wish I could have bought it! Anyone know who did???????
It sure is. I found these on Russ Beckwith Fotki site. I sure hope they made a wonderful Padded style top to go with this one. to bad this one is not sharp. Another Custom Cadillac that caught my eye was this '59 built in an Coachbuilt style. With wonderful two part lift off top similar to the Barris built Aztec and Caddy Parisiene. Looks like it has a chopped windshield to.
