I like both of those cars, but the only I don't like or understand why they do it is...DRIPRAILS!!!! Why do ya remove them??? I think it takes away from the lines of the car and your eye is drawn to the square door.JMO of course

hey rickster- thats John D'Agostino's newest one. Seem like alot of people think 59cads are gaudy. but theyre my all time favorite "factory" design. I love seeing the when theyre customzed right too. that one is done RIGHT!!

  12. An oldie from the Drag-N-Shop. To the best of my knowledge this pickup has never been finished. This is what it looked like when I last saw it.

this is my 48 chev x-4door a bit of fun with what was barely a parts car,if it doesnt get sold to help with the moving west expenses, ther will be lots more bodywork...56 dodge bumpers, full fade away to the cab corners ,i have a much better set of front fenders,53 Buick headlights and several different grill choices.

I built this car for my dad a couple years ago for the Choppers Show. We had 6 weeks to complete it and managed to get it from a stripped and tired rolling body to this in my attached garage, paint and all. My dad is from Oneonta, NY, when he was a teen racing stock cars, he always wanted to build a custom. He ended up in the Army instead, but collected old custom add-on parts for many years. He always told me that customs near there weren't as much chopped and channeled, but wild paint on mostly stock bodies with lots of bolt-on stuff. So it's basically a stock Merc, I dropped in a 53 flathead with aluminum heads and headers, straight pipes, 4-speed toploader, and 3:54 gear. We tuck and rolled the interior, and added the crazy 6 volt add-on stuff, cigarette holder/lighter, 1953 Sun tach, tissue box, spotlights, traffic light third brake light, and much more. We mounted a Coronado kit on the back, matching caps, lakes, lowered, and a green plexiglass visor(not shown). I painted, flamed and striped it for him and he's been driving it ever since.
