    You know its funny how you sometimes think something looks good, then when you look at the pic yrs later you wonder what was I thinking, felt that way about the 48 Lincoln too :eek:

    I saw it in detroit last summer. It pulled into a Mcdonald's parking lot cruise night and every jaw in the place dropped. Beautiful car.

    Do you have anymore of this one? It looks like Randolph county plates on the car. Randolph county starts about 3 miles down the highway from my house, I don't remember it.

    No Ron, Im sorry I don't have any more photos of it. :( That photo was taken at the Muddy River Run in Fort wayne, when it was at its original location on the coliseum grounds. I would say it was from early to mid 80's.

    Anybody got pics of a really really radical El Camino '59 from the 80's ? All i can remember is that it has split grille front and rear filled with mesh, some sculptured fender after the wheels, and was in dark blue or purple primer ....

    A very kool and bad rides....:cool:

    I have Pictures of it!!!! :p somewhere :mad: I can't find them. (am I allowed to post elcamino pics ?? :D ha ha

    But I found some other to share. Boy in looking back at all these (some) old photos, you have to wonder what happened to all of these cars!! :confused: We have seen some come back as different paint jobs and stuff. But there are a lot that have just vanished.

    anyone know what size these wheels are i have a set of these hubcaps and cant find any rim that they will fit..are they 16's? they will almost fit a 15'' chevy rim

    This photo of my chopped -1949 Merc-at the last MERC -DEUCE REUNION 1999 it was judged " best chopped top" on a 1949 to 1951 Mercury
    THIS was for the chopped top not King of the MERCS
