So many of the early photos in this really great thread have been lost in the years since it first appeared. Hopefully the original posters of those lost photos will go back and repost them to the original entries. A hassle? Sure, but it sure would be appreciated by those of us who missed them the first time around.

My 51 Merc mild custom. My first attempt at a 50's custom. Gotta admit I'm really psyched at how it came out. Main build took about 3 months. Been picking away at the little stuff since. This picture was taken at the Race Of Gentlement in Wildwood NJ. About 9 hrs each way with not a single isssue.
