Hot Rod Brake Co. is built By Paul Carroll his site is www.deucemanufacturing.com he originated the Buick style conversation years ago, he does not have his Kinmonts on his site yet.

Both his and Johnson's are built very well.

Yes, saw it, took a card, It looked better than the JHRS version IMHO. I didn't take pix or get pricing though. Very nice though indeed.

I talked to Paul Friday at Walden's. He's done a great job of engineering his brake setup. Great guy and very concerned that his product is safe and looks authentic. Also didn't get price or available.

Saw them at the Walden open house, they look like something I'd be happy to put on my car, just didn't have the nerve to ask about the cost of a complete setup. Bob

  13. I have to ask, are the Hot Rod Brake Co version like the original Kinmonts? or covers hiding modern disc and calipers like JHRS Kinmonts?

To a diehard s***ch-Nazi Traditionalist those would not be perfect for a period build, and even if you could buy a nice house in some parts of the world with the price they'll be asking for a set of four, they're on my list and sure would make a fenderless rod look mean as a Kentucky stud horse. And, no doubt you could throw the old bucket into a curve with more than a little verve and not worry about pinch marks on your seat.
