That frame profile is going to be really nice looking.

 

For sure. there was no way I was just going make it look like I built this when I was 15
Now not sure how to pull this off but have been thinking of options.

Working on a template for the profile of the frame rails. Think I'm getting close.


Thinned down the top a little more and starting to get happy with it.

 

And a little more. I may get this yet.

 

Love the updates. This is one of my favorite build threads, right up there with Chucky’s Stude sedan. I like the profiling of the frame rails, ads a lot of class.

 

I have the profile I think I can live with. Now I need to figure the cut line and decide if I should save the radius of the tubing to wrap around the new profile or just get some flat stock to wrap it with.

 

I would save the radius of the tubing.

 

This may be a stupid question, but isn't that more or less hidden once the fender is back on?

 

May get some peek of it with a wheels up launch.
