This is the view as you enter the fairgrounds for those of you who have not been there; the nicest fairground in the country.

I took about 900. I'm trying to post only the best and have plenty left. I'm glad you're enjoying them.

I'm an artist so my focus is on style.

I included a few tattered survivors which I found interesting, but that segment is being over-emphasized in my opinion; a fad like primer and doorknob grilles.

I used that black deuce from Kansas to lead off my coverage for a good reason; it has appeal to every interest group on this forum. I moved through the show too quickly to have been able to look at it closer, but it appears to me to be a genuine survivor that I can respect.

Even if it's a faux survivor (which I doubt), that deuce is done right. The rake, nerfs, bobbed fenders, flippers and striping style just scream 1959-state-of-the-art styling! And it ain't tattered, just looking like a good used car.

can you imagine the poor ******* with the '56 Chevy with the 20" wheels that gets into a street fight with that "cute" little old woodie?
Hahahahahaha......it would leave the poor **** with the folding chair and his fanny pack like he was tied to a pole.......:)
