The two biggest car shows in Jersey are Lead East and Dead Man's Curve both held on Labor Day Weekend. Dead Man's Curve lost it's original
venue a couple of years ago and had to move to a new site, which is smaller and not quite as nice as the first place. Lead East has been in the same place for years now.(originally started by Terry Cook) They were the MUST SEE shows, everybody had their favorites. Lead East was always spectacular esp the first 5 or 6 years when it first started, has been slowly slipping in the toilet in my opinion, pretty expensive. Dead Man's Curve started when a group of guys got disgusted with what was happening at Lead East and decided that they could do better for less money AND THEY DID!!!! It too has slipped, I don't know if it's the new site or lack of interest in participants, or they're old or dead, all I know is if you want to go for 3 days, be prepared to shell out some $$$. I just go as a spectator now for 1 day, leave my car home.
