The tank was made by Dean Moon, of Moon Equipment and was installed on his engine dyno that he ran during the early years of the Moon business. I believe that the engine for the first Shelby Cobra, which was installed at the Moon shop, was broken in on that dyno and the fuel ran through this tank. The tank has several extra bungs welded onto it, as well as two large spout openings for full size fuel caps for various hookups while on the dyno. It has one of the early style caps still on it and and original pair of feet/tank stands. The cap and stands have been with this tank for its life. I purchased the tank from the family who bought Moon's dyno, and used it at their Speed O Motive engine tuning business in California. Outside was pinstriped and leafed by HotRodJen.
