Lake Compounce

    Just curious if any one went to the flee market at Lake Compounce and if there was any thing good there

    I went up and sold a lot of junk (good stuff) and i did pretty good

    yes, i bought a really nice old black and decker seat grinding kit, some exhaust clamps and hangers. i''ll post pictures when i load them in the googler later.

    Best pickins ever. Just got lucky. Nice original 32 grille shell, old Eco air meter, Old 6000 rpm tach, nice gauge panel face. All wicked good prices.

    I bought the Wescott body in 1976 for $2,200 DELIVERED. Sold the '56 Half Ton I'd driven home from California to pay for it. Bob:rolleyes:

    if i remember right, it was a pretty stout body. i do remember following that car out to york with it running so rich our eyes were burning.
