Google "lake headers". There are a LOT of companies that make that style lake header.

Matt at gear drive makes the nicest headers you will find and he is great to deal with.

He doesn't add the outlet, but that is the easy part that you can do yourself.

You can buy a kit and weld up a pair yourself.

Really knot that hard and I think speedway still sells the kits.

Sanderson "lime fire" headers come with or without a bottom dump tube to run full exhaust.

I always thought that bottom dump looked like something a street rodder wanna be would put on his car. My suggestion would be to forget the bottom dump, and install a small glasspack in the header. A muffler intended for a Volkswagen stinger exhaust worked well for me. Like someone said, Sanderson makes nice Lakes Headers and their turn out works well to direct the exhaust into the air stream.

Check out @ finessguy, 30 Ford coupe build thread. He used Matt's headers and adapted them to what you want without making the dump obvious

  11. True, but if he needs something RIGHT NOW and CHEAP, the import ebay headers are the same price and assembled.

I picked up a set of stainless ones for a side-build at a little over $200 shipped and was rather surprised at how nice they were.

I've thought that, too. Geardrive also has baffles that can be installed in the headers. Plus, Matt is a helluva guy!

"Car chemistry" also sells baffles that you can pack and tune yourself. It works off of a perforated center tube that you can tack weld up to 3 round disk that slip over the tube and hold the whole assembly tight inside the header tube. You can drill the disks out more and/or add baffle material between them. But i don't care how you build them ,that exhaust will still get into the car even with turnouts.
