Hey Guys, I dropped a crud load of money to stock up on the parts necessary to offer Lakester header kits. But the gentleman that was going to supply me with the exhaust flange DXF files for tons of different motors has had second thoughts. Said he worked to hard to sell them. SO now Im stuck either buying them one at a time through him and copying them... which makes no sence to me... cause he loses money... or seeing if anyone has any of them they wouyld be willing to sell me or give. The funny thing is there is nothing propriatary about them... just if someone wants to share. Im gonna get them eventually just thought he, or someone would want to make a little money to save me some time.

I am open to buy DXF files of anything that is cool. Want to make some extra scoot or just help out... shoot me a PM.

  2. buy a bunch of exhaust flanges and then have them scanned. i dont know if any of the guys that do laser cutting on here has this technology but its out there and shouldn't be that big of a deal cost wise. then sell the gaskets with the kits to recoup cost. to make things easy do only the popular motors at first and then offer exotic kits with a little more lead time. if you do a search on here you will find hemi, sbc, and Flathead dxfs, maybe more and thats just on here.

Thought about that as well, just worried about the flange showing up and not fitting correct..? But that may be what im reduced to. It just amazes me that a couple fo gusy with these think they are worth a huge amount of money, But that is just not the case. I will do a search, and see what I come up with. I already did the search above and kept coming up with stuff like Honda B24 flanges and ricer stuff.

  4. if you dont already you can get a free autocad off the net. its put together by the same people who did the solidworks and all the aliases are the same as autodesk. search draft sight, it only takes 5 mins to download.

O no, I already own a CNC plasma, and I am very proficient at CAD... Just didn't want to take the time to draw 50 more things... :D
