There was a thread a while back about these two modifieds. theyre in the new april street rodder (and cover!) -- nice pictures and article. Congrats to Staneck and Gromer for two stunning examples.
Thank's a lot. Ed Gromer and I have been overwhelmed with all the positive feedback on these two little cars. I'm thrilled anytime I see homebuilt cars on any magazine cover. I have been practicing my sewing and have installed a complete new interior. Thinking about selling it to finance another car. Thanks again, Chris Staneck (saucerhead).
Thanks for posting. What a great surprise and great honor to be on the cover of Street Rodder. <input id="gwProxy" type="hidden"><!--Session data--><input onclick="jsCall();" id="jsProxy" type="hidden">
I guess I'll have to break down and buy an issue of SR. I've still got the picture of the pair of them on my background, they're bitchin' cars!
Those are two great cars, I know they must be a blast to drive. I really enjoyed the article in Street Rodder.
I'm putting a Pinto motor in mine, but I was afraid to mention it because I thought that motor might be OT. Glad to hear it's not.
Thank you, they are very fun to blast around in!! Thanks Mindover ! . Nothing wrong with a 2.0/2.3 engine.I couldn't afford an Offy and wanted the exhaust and intake to come out the correct side so the 2.3 work well for me.
