Lakes racer classification?

Hi Guys.
I`m looking to have my 48 Plymouth Coupe signwritten in a Lakes Racer style.Anyone confirm what a street car racing in the late 50`s say,fitted with a 283 SBC would be cl***ed as?I have had a look on the net and come up with A for stock cars under 300ci,and B for similar with one body mod.I have lowered suspension on mine,would that put it in to B?I know its all pretty immaterial,but you just know first time out someone will take great pleasure in telling me i got it completely wrong.....
I have attached a pic to give you an idea of how it looks,only difference is it is now dark blue suede.
