Hey...I'm a for real people, I really really need it, I'm a hot rod guy and I don't own even one gold chain. And since I have no money, it only figures that I don't have more money than sense, right? (don't answer that) So whatta ya say, huh?...whatta ya say?
Will there be any Hudson Trucks or commercial vehicles available? I am a young guy on the hunt for one (or more) to restore! Thanks, - Jake - MN - 651-429-4988
Tons of interest in this lil pile of stuff. No Hudson anything in there. Ford, merc and caddy cars. Every other company parts (or close to it) Signs and pumps of all kinds. Vintage speed goodies. Tools and other randoms. List is being worked on. 45 years is a long time to put things in a collection. Trying to figure it put takes time. Posted using the Full Custom H.A.M.B. App!
Unless you have a vacant field next door you will be overrun with people once you set a date (a la the Lambrecht auction). Some early birds will show up uninvited. People wandering around everywhere. I would consider putting certain parts in one spot to be sold at one time. Maybe put up pics of what is to be sold in a batch of parts. Then do another batch on another day, then another. If you advertise the sale a lot and you have an open house type of sale I predict you will end up hating people... Just my 2¢
Already in the works. We also have a large parking area directly across the street. Posted using the Full Custom H.A.M.B. App!
So we are thinking the sale will be at the start of Dec, once Moultrie and the Turkey run are past us. We are listing a few things here prior, but the bulk will be through the open house sale.
Sorting some parts from one bay of the first garage. Fenders for a 32 anyone??? Posted using the Full Custom H.A.M.B. App!
Two words. Extra Security With the crowd your going to get more eyes to watch/help might be a good idea. Hate to have anything grow legs.
Since everyone keeps talking about stealing. Let me make this real clear. The sale is going down in a locked building with one door in and out. So stealing would not be easy. Also let me add that we are firm believers in the 2nd amendment and some of the people who will be attending from local parts are law enforcement. Theft is this state and county are something an owner can defend at any cost. I do not think it will turn into that. But honestly if people keep talking about things of this nature we are not going to open it to strangers. There are more then enough people locally that are eager to attend. So how about everyone who might be thinking of the low life way of getting things just not attend or talk about the idea of it. We want to get some of this stuff to folks that need and will use or display it. Not spend an evening filling out police reports as to why some****** had to ruin a good time. That's beyond incredible; I thought I had a problem "collecting" stuff! I think I better get back into the classifieds! Must be something I need( Christmas is coming). Thanks for posting the pics- another set in the works?? Mike from Mass.
Funny to see this on here... I used to work in that shop.. I'm surprised to see he is getting rid of anything....
