Just wanted to remind you that there are young boys and girls that use the hamb because of their interest in hotrods. I asked my 20 year old grandson what car he wanted when he gets older he said he wanted my 1955 tbird hotrod!! Let's keep it clean. Thankyou

Shoulda been around 15-20 years ago....This place is Mr Roger's neighborhood nowadays.

  6. Um let me see your 20 year old grandson is uh well sensitive?

I seldom drop the F bomb anymore. I kind of told the Boss that I would avoid it or at least try but I got to be honest here. I grew up around real hot rodders not men who lived in a cubicle all their life then had a mid life crisis and decided they needed a street rod. A lot of the guys that you all worship were family friends and they were rough SOBs. I liked fast cars and motorcycles anyway.

Granted I know that this new millennium is a touchy feely world but I really don't care I am just me if that is too crude for ya that is really too bad. Grow a pair or move on.

Lighten up, Francis. See the word "hoodlums" in the stated purpose of the site?

This place is like an advanced English cl*** compared to something like Facebook.

I don't much care for dropping F bombs every 4th word either but this place isn't so bad.

Kids nowadays know more, have seen more and done more than kids of even twenty years ago.
I have six children ages 22 to 42 and I'm raising my 9 year old grandson. They're exposed to so much more than kids of twenty years ago, TV, YouTube and there games.
I personally don't or at least try not to swear around the kids but life happens. Sometimes you just need to use a adult word because it's appropriate for the cir***stance. Your grandson lives in the real world, he has heard it all and probably uses a few words himself.

In my opinion, **** like this is more offensive than a word...

In any case, the HAMB isn't suitable for kids simply due to language. I suggest you look into some sort of a browser censor if you want to filter certain words.
