Hot Rods Larry Schroll Auction prices?

    Did anyone attend the auction and know some of the prices the vehicles sold for? Particularly interested in what the 50 Merc sold for.
     
  2. The Mercury sold for $ 19,000. Look up Rentzels Auction Service site. They had all the final auction prices on the internet yesterday.

    I think the blue Chevy sedan was the bargin of the auction. A little bit of cosmetics and mechanical work and the buyer is gonna have a pretty cheap fun ride.

    The ratty A coupe was a reasonable buy at $4250 plus buyers premiums etc.

    Neat stuff, thanks for posting it. The Merc looks like a cool starting point with a lot going for it, but it probably needs to be totally gone through. The yellow '36 Ford truck was pretty neat for not much cash. Again, it's a starting point, but it's a neat old unit.
