I did not attend as health issues did not permit. Several people have posted swap meet photos, but I can’t find any from inside the roadster show. It used to be all about the finished roadsters, tourings, and cabriolets. What happened? Please redirect me if I missed it, thanks.
I seem to remember he shared an opinion about some cars at a show and he was pilloried for it. Our loss.
I commented on another thread about the show this year. I've been going for the last 25+ years when they have it. Quite a few empty swap spaces although I suspect many of them were sold to people wanting to keep them for another year. Fewer commercial parts vendors in the vendor area, several chose to set up in the swap area. Spectator/parts buyer numbers were down. Roadster and specialty car count was down. It was still the LARS and the effort put forth by the roadster club always amazes me for their age. I'll Be Back.
We went to Kennedy Bros., Stokers, Early Ford Store, So-Cal Thursday then to the swap meet set up and Walden's on Friday after the swap meet. Tried Viesie Bros but that was a no go. Kennedy Bros. is the best followed by Stokers then Early Ford Store. So-Cal and Walden's were also good. Picked up my front and rear Kinmont's for 32 lakester project at Walden's.
