Event Coverage LARS and Camp HAMB! pic's and stuff...

damm I was there and I stayed in the swap meet area the whole weekend I didnt even go to the specialty parking.Wish I could have meet up with you guys.Maybe next year.

Had to stop and say HI to Jimmy White at the Circle City booth. FINALLY got me a shirt!!! He wouldn't sell me a white one though! Something about not wearing white after fall or something like that....

 

Stopped to say HI to Scotty(SloppySeconds),but he was giving me the "Bums Rush"...All this time I thought he liked me! Maybe if I just bought those carbs...

Maybe you would of noticed it at shows if you weren't soooooo distracted by Mercs and Tit N Ass..

 

Funny,JustplainJ,was back-n-forth,trying to find his old car! Maybe I should have gave him a picture so he could recognize it,lol...

 

Jimmy Whites buddy came and parked by us! I ran over there and snapped some shots...You have to hear this car in person!!!!

 

Mercs really need Wide Whites!!!

 

Check out the back of the red pickup. Not one but 2 blown arduns!! It is amazing the cool stuff that shows up out there, it is actualy over whelming to try to take it all in. That last row or two over by the trees was amazing!!



Did anybody else notice this sweet 35 on the last row??

This guy has his hands up sayin " what the hell" to one his guys that should of been pushing after they rolled it out of the trailer. The guy was too busy setting up the ice chest....pretty funny in person.

I enjoyed the chance to hang out with BadBob again and to meet some of the other HAMB'rs. I plan on doing it again next year!

 

Great coverage of the best LARS I've been to in the 21 yrs I've lived in Southern California, quality cars , great stuff for sale in the Swap Meet (still some berserk prices !! ) more trad cars & trad roadsters than I can remember .Thankfully with all the HAMB coverage the fact I was too busy in the swap meet Sat & our booth Sun to REALLY look around I still saw a shit load without wearing out my poor old feet Killer Photos Guys.

This is a great coverage, its stuff like this that makes me wanna go live in the states.....now it aint possible, but who knows in life??
If anybody cares, i seem to remember the glod A w/ blown flatty should have been built by Fender Alley some years ago, while the redish/purpleish ford truck which somebody referred to as "CAR-ish" has also been around for years and i always thought it was so damn kool, it looks like something that could have been done in the late 50s. Either Rickster or So Cal Culture have full feature on the So-Cal open house folder on their fotki site if anybody cares to look at it closer.
