I saw a couple there, but didn't get any pic's. There was a guy who was selling gl*** bellytanks! Didn't notice how much they were though...
Lemme climb in here and give a special thanks to Badbob for always going out of his way to organize and make sure us Hambers have a good time!! The Hamb camp was the highlight of my day, and Phils Chili was truly the capper............... It was great hanging at the Hamb Camp !!
As You can see,we ALL hated the chili,LOL!!! Guys were walking up and saying "I heard there's chili here?" Thanks again Phil...
BOB........my gal had a super time, she's close to having that 32 Roadster built and becoming a Hamber!!
She looks damn good on that bike, Randy. You oughta buy it for her. I can just see you, perched on a pillion pad on the fender... LOL
she is hell bent on a 32 ,same guy that built Thunderrods car is going to do it, with some changes of course monitered by me....
I liked the lady that pulled up in the golf cart, looked at the HAMB banner and said, "Whats a HOMM?"
Hey, I wuz there! Stopped by your popup, made faces at you and Timebomb, and kept going. Missed Phil's chili, though -- damn!
They were moving dirt across the way all day Friday and Saturday with tractors. They are building some offroad course over there. all our stuff got covered in dirt.. that red thing on the truck bed looks like it was made out of Studebaker drivetrain, and maybe the rear body is 39-40ish Stude front "beak" as I call it. Someone else thought it might be 39-40 Ford hoods cut up to make it. Its pretty rough. the black 41 1 ton truck next to it with a fendered bed was absolutely perfect. It was 14K I think. Well worth it.
Cool photos, I wanted to meet everyone but the swapmeet was too good! Next time I guess. Thanks for the pics.
Did you forget to look up? I somehow missed the HAMB camp I don't know how. Did anyone else see that I think it was a black '33 with a 350/350 that the guy was asking $150,000
Yeah that was me and Juke Joint Johnny. Thanks for the chili Phil. Good pics Bob, I didnt get to walk around that much. The pic with the chili almost to the bottom must have been what sandfordsotherson s****ed up for himself afterwards. Had a good time in our swap space. We had plenty of beer and cold beverages to share but everyone seemed to skip our aisle. Saw HAMBers in the distance but not too many up close. Did we stink or something?? 3 days camping in a parking lot does that to you...
Man... I was there with my family and missed the whole HAMB get-together. Bummed!! Had a whole list of people (literally!) that I wanted to drop in on, but it was hard to get the family pointed in the "RIGHT" direction... Thanks for the pics Bob!!
BOB, thanks for doing the meet and saving me a parking spot. PHIL, the chili was HOT HOT HOT!., but was the best chili I ever had! \ see you guys soon RON
We didn't get the spot we wanted, closer to the HopUp tent, cause there were so many "Saved" spots from Friday night. That pissed me off! Especially when I saw what the spots were saved for. Maybe next year i'll go Friday night and save a space for about 20 HAMBers cars...Fort HAMB!!!!
