had a blast over the weekend ! met some new hambers , and got some great grub and good conversation at cobs fri night ! heres a few pics from the show ! it was a pleasure meeting you all !
Nice pics I was there I don't know if you saw any of my family cars. The purple 29 coupe with the hemi was having problems Friday night so we helped them. First we thought the distributor was wet from all the rain so we dried it off and it started but it wouldn't run. It wasn't getting any gas. My grandpa spotted the problem. He had a sedement bulb from a tractor on it, filled with marbles for decoration. One of the marbles got sucked up into the top of it so it wasn't letting any gas through!
No kiddin! They won an award but I don't remember what for. The car wouldn't run again on the way through the awards
yeah ! i don't think gary meadors spares any expense on the fireworks display ! the grand finalle is always a good one !
I bet from where you guys were watching the fireworks, you got a facefull of ash. We were in the grandstands and when we got back to my '57 (parked just down from you), it was covered with ash.
you are correct ! the inside of my truck and hood were covered in it and there were actually chunks of cardboard from the mortars !
