Last Day in Iraq!!

The words "Thank you" just don't seem to say it well enough. I hope you get a hero's welcome home!

I know I'll be saying that as soon as we get off of leave and get back to work. Us cooks normally work 7 days weeks while everyone else is enjoying the holidays and having 4 day weekends. Regardless I'll be back in Iraq in about a year. Oh well

 

Glad to hear you're gettin' your ticket punched and heading for home! It's a wonderful feeling when the bird leaves the ground in-country and lands in the states. There was a big cheer at both times on our flight. Enjoy the reunion at home. Nothing like it!!!!! Good advice on having some cold ones. Not a day goes by that you don't think of whats happened or what will happen in the future. Welcome home Bro!!!!!
