<HR style="COLOR: #d1d1e1; BACKGROUND-COLOR: #d1d1e1" SIZE=1><!-- / icon and ***le --><!-- message --> Well, some of you on here saw the build of my roadster last summer just in time to make the tour to Deuce Day. Well as time goes by I ended up not liking the roadster, its windy, noisy, cold, all the things I dont like.I guess that would make me not a hard core Hotrodder, but I can live with that. I ended up getting in contact with a fella from North Vancouver, and I went and had a look at a 5wnd coupe body back a few months ago. After having a talk , We decided to trade the roadster body for the coupe. I finally got the time this weekend to pull the roadster body off and get down to Vancouver. I was going down with my Wife, but at the last minute she decided not to come, so I stopped in Langley and picked up B-bob (Brian Bobbit). We had a nice visit and I got the see the sedan in progress, Nice job Brian. The fella that I traded with, (Don Blair), is a great guy and very helpful, he has owned the coupe body since the early 70s. <!-- / message --><!-- sig -->__________________
Here is the new body home in my shop. Don gave me pretty much every part needed to put my new car back together.

I have been trying to make a deal with him for over 15 yrs now to get a rough 32 5wnd body. Well I finally got the call today to come and get it. This body was grown over with trees and surrounded with parts and a boat and everything you could imagine. It took us a few hrs to clean out and get it loaded up. This is another great guy (Terry Shewchuk) and I would like to thank him alot for the help and the car. Now I have two 5wnds and no roadster, isn't that how life works Kelly
kelly, looks like you have had a good few days. that first body looks real nice from here. and the other one, well maybe you need to do a highboy coupe. Al.
Thanks Al You are right, the chopped body is one of the best ones I have had and the other one, well lets just say it needs some work. I want to try my hand at some more advanced metal shaping, so I am going to attempt to make rear 1/4s for it. Should be fun and I dont think I could screw it up any more than it is Kelly
Nice 5 windows, hell they make new roadsters any one could have one of those check this out www.deuceslimited.com
Thanks Casey The roadster was a Brookville, thats why I traded, I can go buy another one some day if I miss it that bad. Im happy with the deal. Hey... Thanks for the link to the Deuce Site, very cool Kelly
I think it's a cool trade. I love five windows and you can't keep a car if your not really digging it right? Hard Core Hot Rodder or Not! The only question is, when are you bringing me that beat '32 Five Window to Charlotte, NC so that I can trade you for my clean '31 Chevy Body?
Yep, Owned one roadster. Sold it in a heartbeat. I too thought I would like em. They only way I would have another is if I had a garageful of three and five window coupes.
What a weekend! I always thought the 32 3 & 5 window coupes were just plain better lookin' cars than the roadsters. Some may disagree. The chop on the coupe in the garage photo is fantastic. Be sure to post a couple more pics when ya get it screwed back together.
I'm a *****, I'm a *****, I'm a *****. Ended up buying the roadster back from Don a few months after the trade and just sold it again. I LOVE COUPES!
