I have never seen anything Bob posts to be offensive. He only takes pictures of what we all see in person anyway. I am a gal and have not been offended by the pics of the "models",why should anyone else?? Bob is a neat guy, a strong supporter of this website,and has organized many cruises for us local Hambers. I urge Bob to reconsider,and keep up the fantastic work he has done on behalf of all of the So Cal Hambers.

first 53BURB now BADBOB whos next??????? come on BOB how many times have I quit the HAMB?? every time theres a mod on a power trip Im the one on their **** list. But Im still here and still lovin it. I just quit askin why and except it was probly for a reason? COME HOME BOB WE MISS YOU!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

 

As many of you know 32gal is my girlfriend That being said i fully support what she has written. I couldnt have put it any better. Bob is a friend,but beyond that he has done more for the Hamb in So Cal than anyone i know! Bob if your out there, comon back,we need ya buddy!

Personally, I'd like to see this thread closed to eliminate any more speculation on who's right/wrong....who said/did what...etc.

There's 2 sides to every story...let's give it a rest.

closing this thread , in my humble opinion will only add fuel to the fire. most comments have been in a respectfull manner ,regardless of which side of the fence . Bob needs to return,and let life go on. Again i say he is my friend, a great Hamber, and he keeps the ball rolling for all us locals.

 

I knew you wanted a Model A, didn't think G***ers Garage would part with his...Looking forward to see what you do to it, I know the car and like it as it is. By "paint" do you mean flames?

As far as having O/T stuff Deleted, I really dont see what the big deal is.


More than half of my cars are Off Topic for the HAMB, and when I have specific questions etc, I try to find another Board for that.


If you put it up anyway, and it gets Deleted, Oh well...
It probably wasn't that valueble for what the HAMB tries to focus on.

Man, I go away to cut a few 2x4's and bang a few nails and now badbob is apparently quit the hamb over whatever the heck happened that I can't even seem to figure out in this thread. Talk about some quick high to low. Seems kind of crazy. This started out as a hell of cool and positive thread with a cool custom, a sweet hot rod, father/son adventure and then it sure went to **** about as fast as possible somehow. BB, not sure what happened and not sure whether you have actually quit the hamb or not, don't see any clear evidence of that, but hope you can let whatever it was slide. Always look forward to your contributions and hope maybe you are just out enjoying that new hotrod.

 

Bob's a good guy and good friend. Maybe you're not into some of the pictures he posts or that he adds into his library. Regardless, he provides great coverage of a ton of events here in So Cal that a lot of folks across the country seem to really enjoy and look forward to. I know that if I miss an event, odds are good Bob will be there to provide a solid run down of the happenings later on the HAMB.

I don't know the whole story, but I know that Bob had a pretty sizeable photo album that was on his profile page yesterday and it ain't there today. If somebody deemed it "unaceptable content" for the HAMB and deleted it without informing him of the removal or giving him a chance to take it down, well...that just seems kinda chicken. Just my opinion.

The HAMB has lost one of it's prodigal sons. Now that The HAMB has made the big time, it can roll over it's fringe elements. The new HAMB will allow threads about fibergl*** kit cars but will axe marginal content in personal albums. Let freedom ring....change is here.
