I go to a b&b in Waynesboro, VA about once a year since 2010. Patches Trailer Sales is on east Main, just off of Rte 340/Delphine Ave. This truck has not moved since 2010, sits in plain view. Someone needs to save it. This is an 2014 photo and the truck is still there. Don't know what the story is, no one was around when I stopped, but it should buff out.

I live in the next town over. Truck has been in the same spot for the 18 years I've lived here. I thought it had a "not for sale" sign in it.

5000 series (which is the Viking LCF) only got the 283.

9000 series got the 348, they were the Spartan. bit bigger truck!

Had my interest in 2010, but... management wasn't going to be happy. Further north on the outskirts of Waynesboro is Laynes Antiques, If you look through the p-lot across the tracks is a non trad Ford c-600, another cabover with the tilt body. No info either, but make a neat pick-up on steroids.
