My Father in-law brought this home a couple of weeks ago. He bought it from a gentleman who has had it since 1955. Sitting in his garage since 1956.

  16. Wow, I would piece it all back together and drive it. I wouldn't change a thing. That car is perfect! Great piece of American history!

  17. Damn, that is one of the most solid 3 windows I've ever seen.

    What a great start.

    WOWSIE-WOW!

There are so few unchopped, full fendered Deuces out there that they really stand out in a crowd.

    Congrats to you guys.

Finally, someone who likes those hinges. I have been trying to tell them how cool they are.

Its a super nice body. Dave will make it incredible no doubt.

Ummm.... wow. To think that I have hundreds of hours invested in my 3w body and it still pales in comparison to your's. Nice score.

It's one of those authentic hot rod touches from back then that no one likes doing anymore. I think it helps hint at the fact that this is a genuine hot rod from all those years ago.. I wouldn't take those off but that's just me.

Those are called "faired" hinges, early streamlining.
